Possible Pictures for my Poster and Website
Below are a few possible picture I could include on my poster and website. I included photos of one of the girls, as well as the dollhouse and some photos of dolls that were both included in my trailers. I did this in order for there to be a clear link between my posters, website and my trailers in order for people to recognise that they come from the same film.
These photos are of one of the girls who features in our film. My partner and I used doll makeup on half her face to represent her normal identity and the identity that she has been created by the surgeon. Although the photos look creepy because of the background and the makeup, the lighting is too bright and therefore not so effective in creating a sinister feeling for the audience.
I think this photo is the most effective as the lighting creates a sinister feeling which is engaging to the audience and the colour palette is quite dark and creepy.
This close up of the dolls house is quite menacing due to the lighting, which creates shadows and makes the inside of the house look creepy.
This photo of several dolls looks quite creepy due to the lighting used to create shadows behind them, however I don't think it would be as effective on my poster or website due to the colour palette being quite bright with pinks, yellows and blue.
