Hereditary
- Low key lighting - dimly lit with lots of shadows which creates a sinister and mysterious effect.
- No background so that the poster doesn't give away too much information and keeps the audience intrigued.
- Both characters are making direct eye contact, which may make the audience feel uncomfortable.
- Colour scheme - Black and white, blue eyes which is contrasting as they stand out against the monochrome. This may convey that their eyes may play an important role in the film.
- Unnatural lighting to draw attention to the tree and that something abnormal may happen.
- Two shot of the characters showing they have a close relationship. The character above looks more threatening and the character below looks more innocent.
