I am going to be looking at a teaser trailer, theatrical trailer and TV spot for the film Incredibles 2 and comparing the differences between the types of trailers.
Teaser Trailer:
- Production company names are shown at the start - Disney and Pixar.
- Impact sounds.
- The Incredibles logo.
- Blank red room.
- Only two characters are shown - no character develop.
- Very brief outline of what will take place - discovering the baby has powers.
- Non specific release date - Summer.
- Social media hashtag.
- Disney production logo shown at the start.
- Trailer starts with a scene from the film.
- Pixar production logo is shown.
- All the main characters are shown, and developed than the teaser.
- Better understanding of the storyline.
- Slow pace of editing at the start and speeds up towards the end, showing action shots.
