Name of film

Name of Film

Before choosing a name for our film, my partner and I both did some research on films about dolls and each came up with some ideas of potential names. When I had come up with a few names I then wrote my reasons why (eg. genre, about storyline) and then gave a conclusion if it worked or didn't. As my partner and I have a range of different names, we are going to conduct a focus group which will allow our classmates to vote for the name they think is most suitable.

Potential Names:

THE SHED - Gives too much away about the storyline. I don't think this is a good name as it is very simple and basic and it doesn't give any indication of the genre.

DOLLHOUSE - To do with the storyline without giving too much away. Doesn't give a full indication of genre but this gives sense of mystery to the audience.  

THE DEVILS DOLLS - Indicates the genre, but I don't think this name works as it isn't an actual representative of what actually takes place in the film and therefore is misleading to the audience.

THE PUPPETEER - Doesn't give much indication about the film being about dolls. I don't think this name works as it is focusing more on the antagonist, rather than the protangonists.

THE LIVING DOLLS - To do with the storyline, however I think that it gives too much away about what is going to take place in the film.
